I just want to say, I am so grateful when an author gives me the privilege to review their book. It takes great courage and heart to allow total strangers to critique a piece of you. I am always honest, even if I have to give a bad review. Reviews are just opinions and there as many opinions as there are people. So, I'm just one voice in a chorus.
I don't write long reviews that include my opinion on the style or technique the author used. I don't make comparisons to the underlying meanings of certain characters names or situations. I did that in college and well...I've paid those dues. I'll tell you how the characters and stories made me feel. I'll let you know if I could relate to them. If I give a book a high rating, that means I think it is worth your time to check it out.
